A tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel

Hi friends…. Tomorrw, it’s the birth anniversary of a legendary person named Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He is also known as the Iron Man of India. I want to give him one more honour, which is the ‘Father of Nation’. You must be surprised as this honour has already given to Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi aka Bapu.

According to me he doesn’t deserve this honour. What did he do for the nation? He gave a thought – theory of non violence for our fight for freedom – but how can be the logic of non violence can be applied in fight? What was the result? We had to give sacrifice of millions of Indians lives.

Only due to his force for non violence, lots of people died like anything. When ever some one tried to say something different to him, so called Mahatma put him self on Anshan – starving him self unto die. By this he always did all he wanted and forced others to follow the suit.

You people just tell me, how we can call a fellow father of nation due to whom millions of countrymen died? When we got independence on August 15, 1947; the entire country was divided in about 600 small states, who all wanted a separate country.

On the other way, what Sardar Patel did was, went to them and convinced them all to get together and make it one country rather than too many. Some kings of certain states were not ready to come under one flag, but great Sardar made it possible by applying all the available means to him. His efforts got the big one country namedBharat or India.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel actually created the nation. He literally shapes up the country like a father. Even Gandhiji, also, had once admitted that it was impossible without Sardar Patel. I am very sure you people must know his contribution to freedom fight and to this country.

It is history and there is much to write on it. But here I want to say that, a man who tried hard to his best and gave us really united India as a one country; we just admired him as Sardar. And who just advised, duo to which millions of people died; we honoured him as Father of Nation.

I think this is unfair to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. This is simply not justified to all his deed that he has done for us. Though, it is strictly my view and thought. And I think we should rethink about the honour and do justify to the real ‘Saput of India’.
